I just submitted a contribution to Sense and Sensibility (043396115996) which restores the DiscID to  pre-2018 conditions. When approved, it should provide a suitable profile for testing.

Just for reference purposes, can you please advise the following information:
1. AnyDVD version number
2. Windows version number

AnyDVD: HD 8.4.9.0
Windows 10:  version current when the contribution changing the DiscID was approved: 2019-06-28.

As of yet, the problem solely occurs with profiles that were originally submitted with the Disc ID as read out by Windows 10, and in which that Disc ID was later replaced with the "as read with AnyDVD" (or Win7) Disc ID.

New DVD Disc-ID profiles, created under Win10 v1809 or later, do show up in the "Add DVD by Disc ID" screen.

Tested this by deleting several DVD child Disc ID profiles and successfully adding them back via "Add DVD by Disc ID".

Are you running AnyDVD? If so, you have to disable it for that to work, No?

An "old" movie for me is one that was around during my youth.

That is what my two millenial sons think, too. So anything produced before, say, 2010 is old. That is about 90% of my collection
Then again, they call me boomer...

Discs get reused across multiple releases and now the database is fragmented with a million disc ID clones of the same disc.  Ok, maybe using a million was too strong.

Literally a Million?

Currently under Windows 10, If you use one utility to read a DVD, it gives you a Disc ID. Use another utility, it gives you ANOTHER Disc ID. One of my friends got 3 different Disc IDs just from one disc.

Now this surprises me. Can you specify which are the three "utilities" in question?

Did you enter the correct IP on the iPad? It appears at the bottom of the screen:

This is fun, particularly for actors playing many secondary roles in TV Series, e.g.

I imagine cast headshots are not saved in the xml exported file. That's too bad, it would add to the fun to have a face along with the name.

At any rate, thanks for this new toy!

Bonjour,

- plus petite dimension: maximum 500 pixels;
- plus grande dimension: maximum 700 pixels;

- Highlight that line of text and paste into a word editor.  You will need to perform a lot of search / replace to get rid of all the html code...

You can also use a free web-based tool such as TextFixer to convert HTML to Plain Text.

it's a film based on an existing piece of material. Whether that existing piece of material is a book, a play, a song, an idea even, shouldn't matter. To me, this is exactly what OMB is.

Indeed.

Looks a bit like (a young) Armand Assante or Jean Dujardin.

I am getting awfully uncomfortable with the highjacking of this thread. If you must, please start a new thread such as "How do we go on without DVD Profiler?"

I would like to see a 'Recently Added' tab added to the Add to Collection windows so that one could easily find what profiles were recently added to the online database.

For that, I sort my list using the Last Edited column:
