I wanted to document the common name for producer Christine (Forsyth-)Peters. It's pretty straightforward, as she only has two titles in the database:

CHRISTINE PETERS (1 title, 1 confirmed, 44 profiles)
- How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (confirmed by T!M)

CHRISTINE FORSYTH-PETERS (1 title, 1 confirmed, 19 profiles)
- The Out-of-Towners (the 1999 remake, not the 1970 original) (confirmed by T!M)

With one title for each name variant, the larger number of profiles acts as the tiebreaker, which makes Christine Peters (1953) the common name for our purposes.

Which means, we need a BY.
Complete list of Common Names  •  A good point for starting with Headshots (and v11.1)

Indeed we do, to distinguish this producer (1953) from the costume designer/supervisor with the same name (no birth known). I've already submitted the 1953 birth year into the database, and have documented it with a post in the BY-thread right here.

IMDB, and maybe other places, are reporting her Birth Year as 1969 now!

https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0287080/

And now the OTHER Christine Peters has no Birth Year. Am I missing something?

As for the latter: we never knew what the birth year for the costume designer was, so nothing has changed there. If the producer's birth year now seems to be 1969, then I'd happily fix that, but the problem is that we currently cannot  contribute new birth years into the database - and chances are that won't ever be fixed. So she's currently in the database as "Christine Peters (1953)", while "Christine Peters (1969)" cannot be submitted into the database...

1969???? I don't think Hollywood has stooped that low to be using 14 year-olds to executive produce a movie.

Well, although her IMDb-page says her first "executive producer" credit was in 1983, 'Flashdance', she isn't actually credited as such in the actual film credits. The same goes for many other alledged producing credits listed on her IMDb-page. As of yet, it still seems she has only two titles in the database. She may very well have been involved in all of those other films, but except 'How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days' and 'The Out-of-Towners', there seem to be no actual on-screen credits qualifying for entry in DVD Profiler. But if she actually worked, in some capacity, on the production end of 'Flashdance' in 1983, then it's indeed very unlikely that she was 14 at the time. In that case, the previously documented 1953 birth year seems more fitting. Either way, even if we were to believe it's 1969, it's impossible to get that into the database right at the moment. For now, I'll stick with 1953.
