In 2.4/2.5 there was a feature that automatically converted from Region X RRP to your own locality. Has this feature gone or have I missed it somewhere?

| | Posted: | | | | Like Lithurge I looked and couldn't find... doesn't seem to have moved over. Also as per Lithurge's assessment I suspect it's something to do with the Price Finder code having the currency converter info in it so with one gone so has the other.
FWIW it's one I didn't use but another one in the same area that's gone is the appending of the country to the prices, and I really miss this one because I now have quite a few putrchases that have an RRP in Canadian dollars and a price paid in US dollars (for example) and I can't tell from looking at the screen since they both just use the $ sign. | | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

The old program did a conversion based on current exchange rates, which can become wildly inaccurate over time. In 3.0, conversion is performed by flagging a range of profiles (generally by purchase date) and selecting Collection->Flagged->Adjust prices. It was confusing as I have a mix of region 1,2,3 & 4 which all have different default currencies.

Hi Ken When an update occurs to a region 1 DVD with a regional cost of $29 that I have already converted to £14.99 no lock is set and the update overwrites both the currency and value.
