Subtitles for Deaf and Hard of Hearing |

| Posted: | | | | SDH is something I use a lot but there is no button. Can it be added it to the Subtitles list? A Lot of films have SDH subtitles in English - and a few even have them in other languages |

| Posted: | | | | Welcome, but not as easy as it looks. Als the original poster already alludes to, they're not always in the same language as the main feature. Mostly they are, but not always. As of yet, SDH-subtitles are simply tracked by checking the corresponding language. Sure, "SDH" could be added as an additional subtitle checkbox, but checking that one wouldn't tell us in which language those SDH-subtitles are. To me, that would be *losing* important information. So while I'm in favour of tracking whether certain subtitles are "regular" or "SDH", I wouldn't want to lose what language they're in. That might make it harder to implement. |
