Yes.

When I click on last watched some movies come up with the watched by list and everything works right, on other movies the watched by list is empty and will not slow me to enter anything. Any idea why some movies allow me to input last changed and others will not.

Take a look in the PC Profiler; Tools -> Edit Users. Did you give yourself full access, including Adult?
If not, the rating of some titles may perhaps make Profiler consider that you're not supposed to watch them, and consequently not let you flag them as watched.
