Ken
I have an issue with the way that movies appear in custom media types on my IOS device. I have several custom media types but I will use the Blu-Ray as an example. I have the box checked to include contents in owned category on the media type setup page. If I move a BD in the collection to the Blu-Ray media type the selected movie appears in both media categories on the PC and in the IOS device (so far so good). If I make a parent profile and include some DVD and BD child discs in it, for example if I had a Pirates of the Caribbean parent and put 8 child discs 4 DVD and 4 BD into it, the desktop version would show all 8 movies in the owned category and the 4 BD’s in the Blu-Ray category (still doing OK). However now the IOS version still shows all 8 discs in the owned category but the BD’s do not show up in the Blu-Ray category (not good). Upon further investigation it appears to be tied to the parent profiles category. In my example if the parent profile is in the owned category the Blu-Rays will not show up in the IOS Blu-Ray category but will if the parent is associated with the Blu-Ray category. Another interesting thing is the disc totals appear to be correct in both the desktop and IOS programs even if the discs don’t actually show up in the category list. Just one more thing I do NOT believe that this has anything to do with the newly released versions of the programs, it has probably been there for a while but I was just not smart enough to realize it. Thanks in advance for your help.

the issue with the children not appearing if they are in a different group from the parent has been an issue ever since the first version.

I raised this at the beginning and sent various files to Invelos but this was never fixed.
