Difference between Connecting via DVD Profiler PC vs DVD Profiler Online

Do I lose some control of Data if I sync with online collection instead of local? Before I commit to change connection type to Online, I need to be sure I am not losing some personal data fields which may not be supported via the Online Collection.

My reason is if I can have full function syncing to Online Collection, I can do away with my PC since I am a Mac User. Any advice anyone? Thanks.

Certain things are only editable on the desktop, such as creating new tags, custom media types, custom cover images, etc.  Anything editable on the iPhone/iPad should upload/download correctly to DVD Profiler Online.
