A Tick Box for Movie\TV or Music and if it’s Music… A new Artist Field, currently the Title Field is just a mess...

…and if you add an Edition to it, it looks even worst… Eg.

Adam & The Ants: Stand & Deliver: The Very Best of Adam & The Ants (Sony BMG Special Collector’s Edition)
Or
Supremes: Reflections - The Definitive Performances 1964-1969, The
David Foster & Friends: Hit Man: You're the Inspiration – The Music of David Foster & Friends

Checkbox under features: Bonus CD
What would also be nice is for DVDP to read & store the cd ‘label’…like the dvds

Audio Track’s Content: Multiple Languages
For discs where the language isn’t specified only listed as Audio or where it’s just music videos in multiple languages.

CoO Rule for Music:
CoO should be listed from where the Artist is from unless otherwise stated. Eg. Live in London @ The O2

No, I don’t want a CD Profiler happy with the latest MediaMonkey for CDs & YouTube Clips, I just want to profile my 440+ Music DVDs better and neater…

I've always used tags for music/live performances/videos and both Music and Television are available as genres and if you want more you can add custom genres. So adding another redundant tick box or whatever doesn't seem necessary...

KinoNiki,

What I meant with the 1st Tick Box [Movie\TV or Music] is to make an additional Field active for Music, so that one can enter the Band or Artist Name eliminating the need to enter it in the Title field… so Title will be purely for the DVD Title. Eg.

Artist: Adam & The Ants [New Field]
Title: Stand & Deliver: The Very Best of Adam & The Ants
Edition: Sony BMG Special Collector’s Edition

I don't know that the field is a mess but I would suggest a simple change to the rule, rather than an change to the program.  For something like "Stand & Deliver: The Very Best of Adam & The Ants", adding the artist name is redundant.  The rule should be changed to prevent that addition when the artist name is already part of the title.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

I don't believe we need a new field for artist. Just include it to Title field.
