Apologies if this is an obvious question to answer, but I don't have much experience of running off reports with this program. I've done a few 'A-Z' reports to re-organise the whole collection sometimes, but I need a way of separating this up a little now.

Is there a profiler report that allows you to simply list everything in each Location (and/or Slot) and nothing else?

As I'm having to box up a lot of my DVDs and store them in different places, I'm looking to run off some reports which will tell me what is in each location.

I will also have DVDs (which have not been located) on my shelves.

Many thanks,
Neil

I don't use reports, so I don't know what is available "out-of-the-box".

However, the Database Query plug-in will let you select by Location / Slot.  Once you have the results, you can cut-n-paste into something like Excel and do whatever you wish with it at that point.

If reports are important, you could always save the results as a Flag Set and then use that with whatever Report you want.
Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here.

I've had a good look into some of the online reports, and it looks like I can filter items with a Location, but there doesn't seem to be a way to sort by Location.

So it looks like I can get an A-Z of everything located, but the Locations themselves are going to be all over the place.

... but there doesn't seem to be a way to sort by Location.

There is, in the Collection List by inserting the Location column.

Press Ctrl&F1 to have the collection in list mode, now right-click somewhere on the column-headers and choose Show Columns -> Disc Location. Clicking on the new column-header will toggle between ascending and descending sort.
Afterwards use "As filtered/sorted in collection listing" in the reports section.

Well as you are storing yours, How about using the collections tabs for the storage location.

Then you can run a report via display sort etc.

Thats how I do the slips for my notebook listing.

In my case

Blueray
Movies
Animated
Seasons
Dups
Junk
