Yes, just change the order to be ascending not descending

Choose the middle button at the top when you are in your collection (the one with four horizontal bars and an arrow pointing up and down). Then you will get to lists. On the left you can choose wether the DVDs are ordered alphabetically, by collection number, etc. On the right there are to arrows to choose ascending or descending order.

As far as I know, you can't disable the alphabetical (or numerical, depending on how your profiles are sorted) list. And, depending on the size of your collection, that list can be a massive timesaver.
