Maybe a good idea is making this pinned?
Got a few questions:

1) The ipad 2 often comes with "session expired", and wants me to reenter my detaisl. Why?

2) The app does not show Location and Slot.
So I cannot pick a disc and look it up physically.
How to add this?

3) Suppose using a fixed IP address is a good advice from Taro. But can I try this for just the ipad or must I reassign all my network?

4) After I amend a profile on the ipad I am warned that it's "read only, so changes may be lost", although my pc is running OK.

1) No idea, sorry.
2) You can find the location by going into the profile and scrolling down to "discs". Tap on it and you can find the location and slot info you entered on DVDP for Windows.
3) You need to assign a fixed IP only to your PC, not to the iPad or any other devices. The fixed IP on the PC means, that the IP DVDP uses doesn't change. Otherwise you would have to check which IP DVDP is currently using and entering that IP (if it changed) in the app to be able to sync.
4) That sounds weird. Can you describe exactly what you did ?
