Some releases have proprietary ratings that really don't really fit into any of the Rating categories currently in the program. I'd like to see an Other choice in the ratings pull-down options.

A few examples of releases I've seen recently have odd ratings:

PD-M (Parental Discretion Mature): Violence

EL: Rated for Extremely Laughable

EM: Extremely Mature

Rated ES: For Evil and Satanic

^^ None of those titles are really Adult, even though they may sound like it. And NR or Unrated wouldn't really be accurate either since the package/disc does display a rating.

Not a big deal but, isn't the rating suppose to reflect the one from where the dvd came from? Why NR or Unrated don't work as this isn't "official" rating so the dvd isn't rated at all?

Are these "Ratings" or is this a "HaHa"-funny form of advertisement?

But really,
if there's no official rating logo on the package I'd simply go with "Unrated".
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

The fourth example is a Music DVD (Black Metal) Rating. The first three appear to be actual ratings, with a logo box, and I've seen the same such ratings on other releases from the same studio(s).

Whether some are actually jokes or not, I wouldn't enter Unrated since they are listed as the ratings.

Another example is: Rated "17" by the IDRB

For some of these examples, a solution would be to use NR and put the description in Rating Details.

True, but it wouldn't really be following the rating usage in the rules. Even a studio's proprietary rating is still technically a rating.
