I am not sure if the problem is IOS 5 that i have on the iphone 4 or what but sunday i went to blockbuster to purchase some movies, obviously i checked the cast to see if i had the movie i was getting and no i didnt have it but once i was home and tried adding the movie it said i had already added a similar title.

So i do have the movie but when i browse my collection under the actors name it doesnt show as if i own the movie. Can anyone help? Is this happening to other people as well?? Also shouldnt there be an option in the browse to do it by title instead of cast, wouldnt that be easier? Anyways thanks for the help in advance.

I'm confused.  Why didn't you just go the the Collection tab and view your movies sorted by title?  I only browse for a specific actor when we're in the mood for a particular person.  99% of my time is spent viewing what we have listed under the Collection.

Because is easier and faster browsing then going to the collection, browsing you just put the name of the actor and all the movies in the collection under that actor should come out, but in this case it didnt.

Wow.  You must have quite a collection.  I only have about 500 movies, so using the quick-pick letters on the right side of the screen and scrolling works for me. I never really thought about viewing it that way.  I'll have to give it a try.  Thanks.

I'm confused . If you're at Blockbuster and you have the DVD in your hand then why on earth wouldn't you just type the title into the search bar in the collection tab? Why go to all the trouble of using Browse>Cast? How is Browsing>Cast faster than using Title Search in the Collection tab? I timed it. It took 26 seconds from launching DVD Profiler iOS to finding a title using Title Search in the Collection tab. It took 36 from launching DVD Profiler iOS, pressing Browse, selecting Cast, typing actor name then locating the title in question. Also, if the title you wanted was in a retail keep case, you could have scanned the UPC which would have confirmed that the title in your hand was already in your collection.
