I am assuming that the effort to code the On-Line Collection functionality includes an effort to make the web site compatable with the web browser on the PS3.  You may not realize it but the web browser that comes with the PS3 is pretty much usless for anything else.  But it works spectacularly with the On-Line Collection.

On my PS3, I have my online collection set as my default home page.  When I want to watch a film, I fire up my PS3 and fire up the browser to browse my film collection.

The probliem is that I have over 600 titles stored in 25 drawers (2 trays per drawer or bin).  It would be spectacular if the storage information that I programed in the Profiler was pushed up on to my Online collection.

After I used the PS3 to browse the on-line collection, my title selection would display the bin and tray my movie was stored in, making it easy to find the title for viewing.

I am sure this is not a revoutionary idea and that is has been submitted before.  It is the fact the the On-line collection is so easily viewed by a PS3 that makes this so obvious.  The effort to make this work would pay off because so many people would be able to use it.  Who knows, the web browser on the XBox might also be alble to see the on-line collection as well.

Not something I would particularly want. An option that can be turned off and on would be fine... but not something that is just always there. It is just not info that I think is needed to be there for when other people view my collection. Standard Movie & DVD info makes sense to be viewed by everyone... but not stuff like where I decide to store it. That is my opinion on it anyway.
