I had a HD crash and I'm trying to rebuild my movie database. I thought I had it online but when I downloaded the DB from Invelos i only got half of the movies. I guess I didn't update it properly.

No Problem I thought, I have it on my iPhone, but when I went to sync, the PC overwrote my iPhone.

Now I'm with my iPad and it is my last chance to get this right. How do I transfer whats on my iPad to my PC?

BTW
When I go to Update Database>Options>Send changes, it's greyed out. (on the iPad)

Any help would be very much welcomed.

Cheers

Add a title to your wish list in DVD Profiler iOS on your iPad then Send Changes will be available. Make sure you have a backup in iTunes before you Update.

Yes, first step should be to sync your iPad with iTunes to create a new backup. If anything goes wrong with your attempt to sync the databases you can restore the backup to your iPad.

I'm not sure what will happen if you send the changes following 8ballMax's advice. If all goes well, you will get all your profiles back to the PC. But if only the change to your wishlist will be recognized as a change, you could make notes (one letter will do) in all the profiles, that are missing on your PC. Then those profiles will be recognized as changes as well. Obviously that would be a bit time consuming, but still better than loosing your profiles.

Good luck.

If that doesn't work, try creating a new (blank) database in DVDP and sync with it.

Jimbo26, did you find a way to make this work?  Or does anyone else have further thoughts on how it might be done?

I'm in a similar situation -- my PC's database got corrupted somehow, and when I deleted several DVDs from my collection, it managed to keep them but randomly deleted others (not sure which).  My iPhone has an up-to-date copy, but I can't figure out how to get it to send the whole collection to my PC.

I started by backing up my iPhone, as recommended.  Then I created a new database on my PC.  When I tried to sync (with "send changes" turned on), it simply deleted everything on my iPhone, making it a copy of the new empty database on my PC.

Any ideas on how to force it to copy my phone's DB to my PC?  I suppose I could edit everything in it, but that's more than 2000 entries.  Thanks!
