Version 1.1.3 has been released and approved by Apple.

Look for the next major release, version 1.2 soon.  In the mean time, version 1.1.3 has a fix for a rare crash at startup, and has been tested with iOS version 4.3.

Thank you Ken for this updates. Some bugs I had with the iOS 4.3 beta and now GM is resolved with this version (using the 2 kinds of search/filter froze the apps) but now the apps works like a charm.

I'm waiting now the new features you are preparing for us with the future 1.2 version
Regards
Cyrille

You say new features in 1.3... any chance online sync or better filtering has made it? I still can't view a sortable list of all blu-rays that have never been watched that are comedy (as just one example) and that's the thing I MOST want.

If I know it's coming, even if it's 3 or 4 versions away, I'll shut up about it. ;-)

In earlier posts, Ken did confirm that on-line syncing would be in a future version.

I'm sorry, I should have specified: I know online sync is coming... I'm meairly curious if it's coming in this version.

It's better filtering I was referring to in my last line.

You're still new here. In time you will learn the true meaning of the word "soon" as used by Ken.

You mean "soon" = "less than a year", right?

Ken rarely gives infos about ETA.

(And IMHO for good reason... there were alot of flame postings the last time in the "DVD Profiler iOS: iOS Feature Requests"-area)

Yeah, but he's not just catering to geeks who sign up for his forums any longer... now he has to appease the masses of iOS users who expect iPhone and iPod Touch Apps to "just work" and without online syncing, this one doesn't.

I'm ok waiting, I get it, but I doubt many of his new customers will. If they haven't already, they'll likely migrate over to his iOS competitor that already has online sync. He can't expect non-tech savvy customers to stick around while he takes his time making it work correctly. This is a fail on Ken's part as a business man.

Now, remember, I'm not attempting to chastise Ken--I love this product, and I WILL stick around no matter how long it takes to get the app updated, but I just wanted to point out that many will not, and for good reason.
