| | Posted: | | | | I am using DVD Profiler now for nearly 2 years and I love this program. I tried lots of different DVD Colectors but DVD Profiler is the best. I just bought the iPhone App and this is also the best DVD Collection App i have installed on my phone. But there is one thin i am missing so much. Thats a Plugin for my Windows 7 Media Center. At the moment, i am using the MyMovies application witch is a nearly perfect plugin for Media Center. But the main application to manage the DVD Collection is not as good as DVD profiler. So i always have to export my DVD Collection from DVD Profiler to MyMovies only to have them in my Windows Media Center. Witch is often frustrating and - like it is at the moment - sometimes even not possible after installing updates from DVD Profiler. That makes it, that at the moment i have an empty collection on MyMovies because i cant import the DVD's after installing 3.7.1 ... To avoid all this i would love to see a plugin from Invelos. So is there any possibility that there will be a DVD Profiler Media Center Plugin in the future? |

| | Posted: | | | | Possible yes, likely - no. There is only one programmer, and a lot of higher priority things to do.
I did use Open Media Library for a while - but development seems to have died on that one. It did support command line import of the collection, so each night I would clear the collection and import it agian. The export from DVD profiler I maintained with my Instant Export plugin, so the whole thing was hands-off. I considered making the update happen more regularly (check every 5 minutes, and run the update if the export file had changed), but never got around to it.
Once (if) My Movies is updated to import from 3.7.1, you can consider making something similar - at least it takes the pain out of doing the import. | | | Regards
