| Posted: | | | | I just found "My Movies for Android Light" (and Pro version 1st Nov 2010) there appears to be a PC desktop companion that can sync with DVD Profiler backups and subsequently sync back to the phone, not exactly streamlined process but it's a start! |

Thank for the Info!... Will check them out, can not sit and wait for invelos to develop a Driod version!.. Time to try other products, since it seems that they are against the Android!!! |

Who is against android?
http://www.invelos.com/Forums.aspx?task=viewtopic&topicID=455871&PageNum=1 If not against Android, at least having "issues". Those could be due to anything in Ken's life. Family and home life come first, ALWAYS. Then there's the desktop program. A new version of iOS coming. Windows Phone 7?? Android? THE ECONOMY While I appreciate all this, Ken has never been one to have a great PR department. It just feels with the gains Android has made, we've been abandoned. (We'll get over it! ) We can only wait and see. |

To the best of my knowledge, no. I've tried "My Movies", and spent more time adding info or correcting info to the point I just gave up. My experience. Yours may vary. I'm finding Droid DVDP more than competent., and the main DVD Prolifer is your desktop program. Working well until something better comes along. |

There isn't any syncing back to dvd profiler. It's strictly a one way process (and can be painful - my export took a number of goes before I got most of the profiles in). I've done this and purchased the My Movies for Android so I can see all the profiles there. If I want to change / add any then I can either use my phone or My Movies Collection management program (which is free). I agree with fingertakes that there seems some errors - but I don't care for my purpose. I'm still maintaining dvd profiler in case Ken ever decides that he wants to release a android version (and not just make comments that it's going to be released). Unfortunatly I think he wants to wait until it's perfect and will never require any fixes (which may take a few years) (wheras every other company accepts that every release needs updates and prepares for this - and releases something). | | | Paul | | | Last edited: by pauls42 |
