| Posted: | | | | I think this might be useful for some here as well, but I was wondering how people add links or bulletpoints and more to their contribution notes. I just tried adding links to my recent contribution (I had 2 links) but for some reason it left the closing in there and made the entire notes from when the "a href" began as a link.
So, any tips and/or tricks? |

| Posted: | | | | I do it here in the forums.
When I have to add those to my notes, I type and format them in a post here...so that I can preview it...and when it is the way I like it, I cut and paste it into the contribution notes field and close the browser window. It would be nice if the buttons here, could be added there. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. Call it a "feature" but even here in the forums a carriage return is required between links or the second one will do what you described. No reason to think notes are any different.
Like the Martian if i want to add the special features i generally add them in a dummy forum post. I've never tried bullets but i link to images quite easily (proving credit issues).
Note also that the HTML wrapper stuff counts against the 1,000 character limit in the contribution notes. So if they are running long... | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! | | | Last edited: by tweeter |
