Currently when DVD Profiler launches, the "Owned" category is selected, and if that category is hidden, it defaults to one of the other built-in categories. The only way to make a  custom Collection Category the default view is to hide all the built-in categories, it then selects your top-listed custom category upon launch.

I would like some way to designate a custom category as the default category that is selected upon program launch.

Has the commandfile utility been updated to include custom collections?  If so then you could use one to switch to a custom collection on startup.

Sure, I use the commandfile exactly for this purpose too.

Cool. Thanks for the suggestion, it works very well.

I've never used command files, so it took me some tinkering to figure out how. I'm thinking that for a lot of users it may be a little too complicated, so I still think a checkbox in the "Edit Custom Collection Categories" window would be a good addition.

But yeah, thanks for the workaround.
