| | Posted: | | | | Although a lot of people currently enter them, the current system doesn't really cater for releases that have more than one film on one side of a disc.
For example, I've just purchased a title that has nine short films on there. Four of them have an English audio track while the others have other European languages such as Swedish, Dutch, etc...
As it currently works, we can only list the audio tracks at disc level so it would look like each film has the same audio (doesn't have to be different languages like my example, but simply different formats such as DTS, Dolby, etc...)
What I'd like to see is the ability to have the audio listed against each independent title. Perhaps (and this is only my suggestion) introduce a new Film divider to the cast/crew sections & from that, under the Audio/Subtitles section, for each Film divider entered, an audio/subs subsection is shown.
Edit: Forgot to say that this would also apply to other sections where the info could vary, ie Aspect Ratio. | | | | Last edited: by Ardos |

Also, I like to track when a film was watched. Not when everything on one side of a disc is watched.

I do this also. Warner Bros. has started releasing double feature Blu-rays (both movies on one side) and I like each movie to have it's own profile. I voted YES. |

take the upc and add number behind it

You could actually take care of season episodes the same way.

While we can do something along these lines right now relative to Cast and Crew using dividers, we cannot capture any difference between to Films, such as Video, Audio, Runtime, etc.So, sign me up and i don't think Charlie's idea would be hard to implement from a Programmer's perspective. However the UPC assignment with decimal would HAVE to handled at Invelos' end, because with our user base there would be no consistency, and while i would hope not, I see potential arguments over which title would get which "UPC".

If it is a single disk release with multiple movies, then use the UPC
If there are multiple disks then
upc
Disc id1
Discid1.1
Discid1.2
Disc ID2
Etc..
Pretty straight forward I think...
