When I audited th Australian versions of Friends, I added "Regular Cast" as an own divider, and left them out of the episode dividers. Since they should go into the episode dividers, I want to change that. I managed to copy the regular cast withing the divider, but I couldn't manag to paste them inside the episodes. When I pasted it, it was only the regular cast that was visible in the cast section..
See the pic so you know what I mean. How can I paste them all inside each episode divider, without entering all of them manually??

Unfortunately, you can't.

What you have to do is to Paste & Append the Regular cast followed by the episode cast (obviously adjusting/removing episode dividers as required).

Follow the above for each episode.

Once you've done this for each episode you can delete the cast above your newly formed cast list.

It's a bit long-winded but I haven't found a quicker way of doing it.

You could copy the complete cast list into a text editor (notepad works well), and copy&paste within the xml-structure.
When you are done, you can copy and paste the whole cast-list into the profiler window.

Matthias Wolf ( is he still around?) and his CreditsEditor2 program worked well for this copy and pasting,, cast and crew in the excel format. You could manually move certain lines and add certain lines before transferring the whole works back over to Profiler again.

And goodguy doesn't want his tools to be distributed anymore...

Maybe DJ Doena's Freestyle Cast/Crew Edit could become an alternative once it's further developed... But you can't copy & paste rows inside that tool yet.

You an do a physical copy to notepad.  Then locate the section that you want to copy, then past it into place where you want it.

It looks a little strange, but once you realize what you are looking at. then it should go pretty quick.

The you can copy that back into the profile in the edit screen.

Charlie

meaning of course that the paste back would amend (i.e. erase)  any and all of your section
(crew/cast).., so the best way to do is to paste all your clippings into excel spread sheet and then highlite and copy and paste the whole works back to profile....??

It seems to me that all these examples of pasting to notepad etc are just as 'clunky' as pasting/appending within Profiler itself.

Simply put - there's no quick solution.
