First, sorry this is a bit long and complicated.  I've been trying to do quick audits of the credits for anything new that comes into my collection if the existing credits seem to lack something or be suspect.  Two of them were recently added and I got around to doing them today (yay off day!) and well...

The first is Price for Peace: From Pearl Harbor to Nagasaki, UPC 678149170122.

There is an extensive cast list in the profile, but it is obviously an IMDB clone.  This was easy to determine because there are listings for people like Hitler & FDR with (archive footage) appended at the end.  There is no credited cast beyond the narrator.  The other people likely appear in the film, in interviews & commentary, but I don't have time to watch the whole movie right now to determine them for myself.  Should I:

A1.  Remove the cast list entirely & submit that
A2.  Remove only the cast credited with (archive footage) & submit that
A3.  Leave it as is and only after I have time to watch the film & determine the cast, change it & submit

-

The second is It's All True (UPC 097360504040).  It's a documentary about an unfinished film by Orson Welles.

Crew Issue:  The original crew are credited (Welles, etc.), the crew that made the documentary are credited, and the crew that made segments of the documentary are credited.  Lots of crew credits.

B1.  Credit all crew, using episode dividers
B2.  Credit only the crew for the documentary - excluding Welles crew from the original film
B3.  Credit only the 'main' crew for the documentary

Cast Issue:  Same as above, with listings broke up in some segments & including people who appear in the original film.

C1.  Credit all cast, using episode dividers
C2.  Credit only cast listed for the documentary - exclude Welles people
C3.  Credit only 'main' cast (interview subjects) for documentary, eliminate cast credits listed in segment credits

By segment credits I don't necessarily mean 'unit' credits.  There is also a list in the credits headed with "Brazilian Unit" and I know not to include them.  These segment credits are headed with Credits for "The Story of Samba (Carnaval)" & Credits for "My Friend Bonito"

This.  You should only submit changes that you actually verified.

Is the unfinished film part of the documentary?  If yes, then B1.  If no, then B2.

Same as above.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Thanks!

I'll go ahead and tag them to do later after I've watched them.  As I understand the second, the film is about the unfinished film, including footage of it - but I don't know how it is presented at this sitting, so I'll wait on both sets of credits that I was asking about.

You rock, Martian.

First one A3, since a lot of documentaries don't use standardized credits I wouldn't remove anything from the profile until you have time to watch it.  Many times they will credit people as they are shown on screen.

Crew issue not sure as I haven't seen it, like Martin I would probably go with B1 or B2.

For the cast I would probably go with C1.  If they are credited I would profile theim.

Sounds like this documentary is broken up into several episodes and that is why your planning on using episode dividers.  Correct?  Then I would say B1 and C1.
