| | Posted: | | | | I have a slight problem. Years of buying bargain-bin discs have left me with a stack of 30 or so boxes with damaged UPC labels. I simply need a program that can duplicate a UPC label and put it out in a format that can be used on standard ink-jet printer labels.
The plug-in that uses a p-touch label makers sounds great, but I just do not want to buy new hardware for the few labels that I need.

Depending on what kind of barcode-reader you have, the simplest solution would be to get a barcode-font and just type away. Put asterisks at the beginning and the end of the number and of you go. All you need is the print driver. The plugin saves the labels as image files as an interim step to printing. If you want, you could arrange the images in Word or Powerpoint for printing on standard label sheets. I never tried that, but it seems doable. Personally, if I had 30 boxes of DVDs, I'd invest in a cheap label printer. | | | Thanks for your support.
