| | Posted: | | | | With all the new things we can track I've noticed some contributors are not taking time to check the data before they are contributing. Just simply taking some of the programs auto upgrading of the data and recontributing it. Examples; BD-Live, Digital Copy, and in some cases Picture-in-Picture being automatically moved from other features into the features. Remember there are may be other features on the disc, that it may have, that can now be tracked like Bonus Trailers and Feature Trailers. The disc may have Bonus Trailers but, not Feature Trailers or may have both and may have other features either missing or incorrect. If you are going to take the time to contribute, take the time to verify. Please  | | | Are you local?

Please know that I don't expect full edits... as there is many things I don't want to touch on profiles. But what I been doing at least is looking at everything that I do work on... and make sure it is all right before I contribute. | | | | Pete |

Recently I also noticed some people being very sloppy in adding new contributions (for Blu-rays in this case), like not setting the disc type correctly.
What I've noticed as well is people just taking cast from already approved profiles without checking that the entries are actually correct. |

Granted, however in my view that shouldn't stop people contributing from using their brain and eyes. Some of the profiles I encountered clearly had IMDB cast credits in them. I'm doing my best to correct any mistakes I find, but it would be nice if people would take a bit more efford to make sure the data is correct. |

At no time have I said it wasn't permissible and the contributions I have ran across where they contributed partical features yet didn't add another feature or remove one because of changes like with the trailers I have voted Yes with comments with what is missing or should need futher change. | | | Are you local?
