| Posted: | | | | I ran into two problems: 1. No custom roles in crew will be stored in DVDP when using the plugin. 2. Crew won't be sorted by categorys in DVDP when using the plugin. Both problems don't exist, when I copy data from standalone into standard profile editor. But at first try, I copied data into the freestyle editor plugin, and got the two problems. Luckily I didn't close down the standalone editor, so I haven't lost my work. | | | |

Sadky, the API doesn't allow the storage of Custom Roles. Quote:

What do you mean by that? | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

What do you mean by that? After using the plugin, the crew will be in the order it was entered. You have to edit the profile after using the plugin to get them to be sorted correctly. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

"correct order" is a bit ambigious when it comes to crew, is it not? But anyway, there's nothing I can do about that because the API accepts the data and when saving the profile apparently doesn't do the same re-ordering it does when saving in the DVDP UI. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | I released version 2.2.1.0
It contains two new optional checkboxes which come in handy if you use Cast/Crew Edit 2 to get a general starting point for your credit entering and then continue to use Freestyle Cast/Crew Edit to match the credits against the actual movie. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

This is an incredibly helpful addition for less experienced contributors like myself. It really helps me when I check against other sources to make sure I've not missed anything! |

FCCE adds "Pupeteer" to all cast results when data is entered via CCE2.
DJ, for example read out IMDb data from Cinéastes de notre temps "Max Ophuls ou Le plaisir de tourner" (26 Oct. 1965), paste it into FCCE and then read out Max par Marcel (2009), paste it into FCCE and then submit to DVDP. |
