Auditing the Canadian locality of the film Mogambo.

During the opening credits, these are listed (after the principle actors):

Samburu tribe of Kenya Colony
Wagenia tribe of Belgian Congo
Bahaya tribe of Tanganyika
M'Beti tribe of French Equatorial Africa

Currently they're all credited in the profile as such:

Samburu Tribe - of Kenya Colony. The others follow this exact format, which is obviously wrong no matter how you cut it.

To make matters more annoying, they're only listed during the opening credits, and not during the end credits where the entire cast is again listed.

I've checked the whopping two other entries for this film in the system, and the U.S. profile simply omits them while the profile from Spain has no credits listed at all.

How the hell do we credit tribes?

1. List them as the beginning credits for the profile as (example) "Samburu tribe of Kenya Colony" with no character name (since they're in the opening credits but not in the closing credits, I'm assuming all in the first name field).
2. Same as above with with character names of Themselves.
3. Omit them completely like the U.S. profile.
4. Beats the hell out of me. The rules don't cover this, don't want to get into it.
The night is calling. And it whispers to me soflty come and play.

And just a personal note, no matter what, totally deleting the hell out of them in my local.

That's what I would do also. No individual name and certainly not a stage name. No idea what the rule say about this, but it makes sense to me to not include that

I would credit them as if the tribe name were a stage name, much as I would for "The Mormon Tabernacle Choir."  Abbreviate as necessary to fit.

I think you can include it, if you want, as the tribes are clearly credited. I would credit it as we do with stage names and without character name.

I am leaning towards 2, but 1 would be fine as well.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

I never even thought about having to abbreviate.

My initial reaction was simply to leave them off beacuse they're a group of sorts. Then I thought, well, I guess we credit choirs and musical acts and stuff... They're not the same thing technically, but run along the same lines.

Thanks for the opinions.

I'll credit them in the cast and remove them locally, since I generally use my local to keep track of how many films I own with specific actors in them, and I don't think these are going to pop up again anytime soon.
