I was wondering what is the best way to handle this when the Edition Name is too long to fit into the field.

Looks like I did something wrong with the link, just copy and paste it into the browser.

The top banner has this.

Star Trek U.S.S. Enterprise 2-Disc Digital Copy Special Edition

I was thinking of dropping Star Trek as it's redundant since that's the title of the film.
But even doing that it's too long and I can only get it thru Digital Copy and have to leave Special Edition off.

Any ideas?

I'd probably drop the redundant Star Trek U.S.S. Enterprise and just use 2-Disc Digital Copy Special Edition.

Or you could switch to Blu-ray!    It's a 3-Disc Edition and a much more rational Edition name.
Bad movie?  You're soaking in it!

USS Enterprise 2-Disc Digital Copy SE

would fit. All relevant information would be there.

That'll work, Karsten. This looks like one of those titles where everybody and his brother got their own "exclusive" SE. Amazon has one, BB has one, Target has one...I can handle it <pulls hair>.

I too like Karsten's suggestion. I think it would be important to have USS Enterprise in there as the set has the Enterprise packaging.

I personally would drop Digital Copy, also seems like everything is a Special Edition now-a-days.

But, per the rules, I think Karsten's suggestion is the best solution.

Agreed.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.
