| Posted: | | | | There are presently two listings for "Two Hands" starring Heath Ledger and Bryan Brown, and I'm thinking that some of the studio and media information that I have should match one or both of these films in the database, but it does not.
First: My info comes from the credits on the DVD.
This is what's indicated:
Opening Credits
Australian Film Finance Corporation, presents a CML and Meridian Films Production
End credits:
Produced in association with the premium movie partnership for "SHOWTIME" Australia
SHOWTIME
This film was developed and produced with the financial assistance of the Australian film commission.
Developed with the assistance of Film Victoria
International sales Beyond Films
Then the artwork indicates
TVA Films (top spine) Thriller 051345 (bottom spine)
Barnholtz Entertainment (back) TVA Films (back)
Then the other listings in the database credit:
Mirimax Film Corp (studios block)
or
Boulevard entertainment (studios block)
What should I list for MY UPC version of the film?
Complicating things a bit further, the artwork for all three listings is different, as are the DiscIDs.
My DiscID:
439DD3E71FCA44D4 [TWO_HANDS]
Others in out database:
CC369F1729915635 - TWO_HANDS 3EE0CDF1CA08CCDF - TWO_HANDS |

| Posted: | | | | Based on the opening credits, the studios should be:
Australian Film Finance Corporation CML or CML Films, whichever is their proper name. Meridian Films
The MC is a little harder as I can't get a good look at the back of the case but, from what I can find, it was distributed by Miramax Home Entertainment here in the states.
As a side note, one of the two versions, that is listed as an R1 US release, isn't. It has a ratings logo of '15' which is not a US rating. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. Since this seems to be part of the name, it should be entered as such. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. I was looking at this one a few months back and couldn't find an instance where Corporation was abbreviated after "Australian Film Finance". It was always spelled out and used as part of the name. | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! |

| Posted: | | | | Correct - the company suffix in this case is either Ltd. or Pty. Ltd (see here) so the proper name is Australian Film Finance Corporation |
