I've been entering a bunch of new profiles and the case type does not have a "Slim case"

I've been using THINpak, but I doubt that's right.

(What is a THINpak)

We call them that because that's what they're called! Most, if not all of the ones I have have that written on the case somewhere.

Thinoak, yep that's what they are . Slim Case might be what the OP calls 'em but...it's not only what Profiler calls 'em, so does the industry.

Frankly confused by the OP's since this is Invelos' DVDProfiler...not That's All Folks' DVDProfiler. Not to be sarcastic, but unless Ken wants to create a field that allows users to call the case what they want (doubtful) you follow Invelos.

He never stated it was That's All Folk's DVDProfiler. He simply asked a question and then stated his preference. No harm in that.

Yup, they're called Thinpaks for real in the industry. You'll see it in enough places online.

The only place where I see "slim case" being used, is when I buy replacement cases (for cases damaged in transport, which happens more with the normal keep cases anyway).

couldn't you use a translation file to 'translate' THINpack to Slim Case if you would prefer it be called that?

Why not simply accept what the name of the case is...ThinPak? Seems like the easier answer, as opposed to always looking for ways to do it YOUR (generic) way, this isn't Burger King.

Good Point.  I believe ThatsAllFolks' "C'est la vie" comment indicates he will grudgingly accept THINpak even though his preference would be for "slim case."

^^^^

I was not trying to criticize the name -- this only started because I was confused when creating a profile what I should call a "slim case".

I assumed it was a thinpak, but did not know for sure.  On many sites I visit they are referred to "slim case"  and that's what I've been used to.

C'est la vie!
