I am working my way through the Credits on the new Blu-ray release of The Prisoner and came across a credited as for Michael//Danvers-Walker as Danvers//Walker. I did some Googling and about the only place I can find that connects these 2 names is IMDb. I've searched for both "Danvers Walker prisoner" and "Michael Danvers-Walker prisoner" and most of the links are for Danvers Walker as the credit where as I get about 3 sources for Michael Danvers-Walker as Danvers Walker (IMDb, Premiere, and Amazon). One interesting find was the BFI TV and Film Database which lists the 2 as separate people.

Danvers//Walker  http://ftvdb.bfi.org.uk/sift/individual/387218?view=credit

Michael//Danvers-Walker  http://ftvdb.bfi.org.uk/sift/individual/428026?view=credit

The current cast was added to the profile by another user as a copy and paste from the last DVD set. I've looked through the notes for each and can't find anything to support the connection. So I thought I would see if someone has the data to support it or not before I submit the change to remove the credited as.

Well, it certainly shouldn't be "Michael Danvers-Walker [Danvers Walker]" since, even if both name variants refer to the same person, per the CLT results "Danvers Walker" is the most-credited form (22 titles vs. only 5). So he should be entered as "Danvers Walker" here anyway - both if he is, and if he's not the same person as "Michael Danvers-Walker". So this is not really an issue until you've found an actual "Michael Danvers-Walker" credit.

For the record, though: I personally believe that both name variants do refer to the same person. If I can get my hands on a title with an actual "Michael Danvers-Walker" credit, I'll happily watch it and a few of the "Danvers Walker" titles in my database to see if I can visually confirm that they're the same actor.

I agree with T!M.  For this title, it doesn't really matter as it is already the most commonly credited name.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Thanks to both of you, I hadn't even looked at the CLT, I was just concerned that 2 possibly unrelated people were linked together when they didn't need to be.
