| Posted: | | | | This is my first questions, but I may find more as I go.
What is the DVD title used for?
What is the DVD release box used for? Should I enter the DVD release date, or the Blue-ray release date?
I'm sorry for being confused, but does this mean a Blue-ray is a DVD, or is this just a bug in the system? | | | Last edited: by Gemini76 |

| Posted: | | | | It's just that the system only uses "DVD" to refer to all media accepted by DVDP. You enter the data as per whichever release you have. |

The Blu-ray release date for BD. In Norway (where we come from) these days DVD and BD are usually released at the same day. (always on a wednesday, I used to work at a videostore ) But sometimes the DVD is released first, then BD after a week or two. Season 7 of 24 was released on DVD for over a month ago, and the BD was released today. And the third thing, some distributors are pushing BD's and have the release on BD a week before the DVD edition... To find releasedates I use www.release.com or www.dvdhuset . Those two are the most reliable sources, but with release.no you can't find the dates of release more than a few months back, so dvdhuset is a good source for "old" BD releases. | | | "What's God?" There is also no capital R (I don't think... This is where I get owned) It's certainly lower case in the logo http://www.blu-raydisc.com/index.htm |
