| Posted: | | | | I'm looking for and would very much like a report that would be suitable for use on my iPod Touch. A very simple textual listing of my DVD collection, in a fairly large font so that the information is visible on those small screens. Title and maybe the format (DVD / Blu-ray) is all I need. I've tried to develop such a report, but that is not my forte. Am hoping you can assist or point me in the right direction.
Thanks very much. |

| Posted: | | | | What OS are you using on your PC?
I use Windows Vista which allows you to set your printer to print to pdf (Adobe Portable File format). If you can do this you can use one of the many "listing only" reports available on this site to create a pdf file. Then you can download a pdf reader app from the iTunes App Store (the one I use is free).
At present I have a 10 page pdf file listing all of the 468 DVD/Blu-ray Discs I own.
Hope this helps

I don't know what exactly theiPod is capable of, but if it has a decent text-viewer: There is a Plugin called CSVExport, which allows you to export very basic lists e.g. of Media-Type and Title. cya, Mithi Supplemental: and there is of course Ipod Exporter which, although it's not developed any more, might suit you even better. | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki | | | Last edited: by Mithi |
