| Posted: | | | | How would you put in the edition for this cover Normally I would say Miramax Collector's Series:Exclusive Director's Cut but this is entirely too long, How would you abbreviate or cut down to size? |

Title: Cop Land: Exclusive Director's Cut Edition: Miramax Collector's Series Original Title: Cop Land That is how it is in the DB now. I have to disagree with this. The title is Cop Land Everything else is edition field information. |

Everything else is edition field information. You are correct, the suggested fix is not allowed. If there is no way to make it fit, I would go with the most descriptive of the two. In my opinion, that would be Exclusive Director's Cut. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | Me too: it certainly can't be put in the "title" field (if only for the simple fact that that'll make it count as a separate title in the CLT, thereby incorrectly influencing the CLT numbers), and I'd value "Exclusive Director's Cut" over "Miramax Collector's Series" as well.
In any case, we need longer field names. And not just this one... |

| Posted: | | | | IMO, if the edition-field is too short: Title: Cop Land Edition: Exclusive Director's Cut
Exclusive Director's Cut regards the movie, Miramax Collector's Series is nice to know but not this fundamental. In my opinion DVD Profiler is for tracking DVDs and DVDs are made for watching movies, so it's more essential, to know what version of a movie you'll watch/you own, than to which release of this DVD you own. |

| Posted: | | | | I hate it when studios do this with films. Give the edition some pointless name such as this. Exclusive Directors Cut What's so exclusive about it. Some additional footage of Stalone perfecting his performance as bigfoot with a gun. If you haven't seen this movie and get to the end you will see what i mean. I say just just stick Director's Cut in the edition and be done with it. | | | Last edited: by ShinyDiscGuy |

| Posted: | | | | I'd say "Exclusive Director's Cut" for the edition. What's exclusive about it? It's the only version of the D.C. I know of, so they can call it whatever they want. E.D.C. definitly trumps "Miramax Collector's Series". All of BV "Collector Series" are silly IMO, only a few had any other dvd (this, Scream, From Dusk Til Dawn and The Crow are all I can think of) from the same company or even same region. |
