| Posted: | | | | The present cover for the UK R2 Pink Panther cartoons set (EAN 5-050070-022728) - originally released in 2004, shows a PG rating mark.
The copy I just received has it rated as a U on the cover (as does the cover belonging to that of another user I've asked, who bought it in 2005).
Can anyone out there confirm that the original release was actually rated PG on the cover and they changed it later? Or can anyone confirm they bought it on release and it always has been a U despite the hi-res image in the database showing the contrary?
TIA for any input.
FWIW just to throw a little twist in I've checked the BBFC site and cartoon 3 (We Give Pink Stamps) has only ever been given a PG rating (in 2006! after the set was released!) for "potentially dangerous behaviour" (... in a cartoon? really? and that's the only one?) so it's possible the set should legally be a PG even if marked with a U and nobody has yet noticed... | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

| Posted: | | | | I don't have the title in question but looking at the submitted cover scans I noticed that there is no EAN shown, wondering if the cover could been taken from a pre-release one? |

Although they generally are on the back, the EAN can also be on the bottom as well. I can see your logic but we can't take that as guaranteed. |
