| Posted: | | | | I've just updated Hancock on BD and am having doubts on a commentary issue.
Neither the box or the onscreen menus list Commentary as an option.
However there IS a PiP feature available through the Special Features menu. When watched it is a behind-the-scenes feature that plays throughout the film. It also has English subtitles.
The profile originally had the PiP feature listed as a commentary with commentary subtitles. I have removed these (including the Commentary audio track - another thing NOT selectable through the audio menu).
Here's the question..... Being a newbie to BD...am I missing something? Is a PiP actually classed as a commentary? |

| Posted: | | | | It depends on the PiP content. What you describe sound like a featurette not a commentary.
I have Risky Business on Blu and it has a PiP Commentary (described that way IIRC) with Cruise and the Writer/Director watching/commenting on the film while you watch them comment. Very silly, audio only would have been fine, but it is definitely a commentary. | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! | | | Last edited: by tweeter |
