| Posted: | | | | I'm currently working on the credits for Rambo, but when I work on the crew I found, in the opening-credits, Russ Markowitz credited as Line Producer, but in the end-credits, he's credited with Russell Markowitz as Unit Production Manager.
Which name should I use and which role? |

| Posted: | | | | As far as I know we don't credit Line Producers or Unit Production Managers either.
However, if you want to keep it local that's ok.
As far as which name. First determine that they are the same person. Then determine which is their commonly used name.
For the role you could either go with the first one he's credited with, or enter both 'Line Producer/Unit Production Manager'.
Again though, I don't think you can contribute him since he's a Line Producer. But perhaps I'm wrong. |

| Posted: | | | | tweeter is correct, neither can be contributed. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | Thanks, I will remove him then, but as far as the name goes, it is the same person, and I guess I could go with (CLT gives one hit on each name) Russell (credited as Russ), or the other way around. This way it shouldn't have an effect on the DB?
Another thing: I hope I'm right that the "Production Executive" is at least an "Executive Producer"? | | | Last edited: by Gemini76 |

| Posted: | | | | Actually the correct name is: "Russell D. Markowitz", so the question is what should I use as credited as? But this doesn't really matter as I'm not going to add him |

I ignore "Production Executive". It might just mean they are someone's nephew. I am not sure what an Executive Producer does (i imagine he gets the creative types together with the money types) but it's a pretty specific credit. If you don't have an Executive Producer credit, you are not an Executive Producer. The producer credits allowed are quite specific and there isn't a lot of lee-way. If it isn't a Producer or Executive Producer i ignore it when adding credits. | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! | | | Last edited: by tweeter |

| Posted: | | | | Agreed as well. I've got to admit, it's been over 3 hours since the original post and I kinda expected skip to come crashing through the doors quoting contribution rules. Must be an off day. | | | Last edited: by mdnitoil |
