I am currently profiling Gilmore Girls S6. I started with the cast and crew of a R1 profile, and I'm verifiying this against the actual credits.

The Netherlands release (UPC 7321931818803) does not list a credit for "Director of Photography" and "Editor" in episode 4.

UPC 012569762473 does list both entries. Can anybody who owns this set, verify these 2 credits, this way I can add them as uncredited in our release.

Thanks in advance.

You can't add uncredited crew to the online database...

Rules Quote:
Quote:
Do not contribute uncredited crew members, as they can not be identified with (uncredited) as they are in the cast section. If you wish to see these uncredited crew members in your local database you can do so, but do not include them in contributions to the main database.

I know this is going to be a discussion about written rules and intended rules, but I think the intention of that rule was to prevent that some people add themselves as sound technicians.

But if another actual copy of the same title says they were in it, why not add them as uncredited in this copy?

Sorry Karsten... but I do not buy that reasoning... the rule is straight forward says if they are not credited not to put them. In my opinion it doesn't matter if they are credited in another version if they are not there then they should not be in the profile for that version.

They gave a reason right in the rules...

Any other reasoning is reasoning YOU are reading in there that just is not there. It even says if you want it to keep it local.

Actually, I want to know if the US version has them credited or not. There are 2 possibilities here. Either the US contribution is wrong. Or my release is missing part of the credits. Either way, I would like to know.

I don't have it to tell you... and I agree that it should be found out due to the fact that the US could be wrong.

The reason I replied the way I did is because you said...

See where I put in bold... saying if so you wanted to add them to "our release" as uncredited... and being asked in the contribution forum I had to assume you meant for contribution. Which uncredited crew is strictly and straight-forward against the rules. locally only is another matter... but not for contribution.

That part in the rules I missed before  , so I will not contribute the uncredited.
