It is Disc not Disk.
All my DVDs profiles in title and on the DVD are disc not disk.
I've been using disc not disk for many decades, has somebody past a law I didn't hear about.

IN checking the updates to the TV series "ER" they have disk in the titles.

I noticed one French disc has disk on the cover, maybe it a national spelling thing,
although I did work for Bull a French company once, but not in France.

And I did find one typo a difference between the Original title and Sort title,
Philip Marlowe Private Eye:.

Maybe I just had a slipped disk.

I have several DVD's that have "Disk" on the covers, and sometimes even in the actual edition:

Fritt vilt: 2-disk spesialutgave

Inland Empire: 2-Disk Special Edition

Riget I & II: The Lars Von Trier Collection: 4-Disk Special Edition

If I recall correctly, disc is English, disk is US-english. Same as colour vs color. Which is right... they both are!

In Dutch a disk refers to magnetical media such as a fixed disk (harde schijf) or a floppy (diskette), a disc refers to optical media.

In german there's no original word close to "disc". The translation would be "Scheibe". But we are also using "disc" in context of "2-Disc-Edition" and I've only seen it written wit a 'c'.

Ok, my bad. In german there's also the term "Diskette". But other than that, ...

Fritt vilt is a Norwegian title, and you see even the Norwegian capitalization has been used in the title. And it's called disk in Norway

As said before there are a few R1s out there that read "Disk" on the actual cover, like "Inland Empire" but that's an exception for R1 DVDs.

Yeah... I have seen it here and there myself on R1 titles. Not very often and I can't think of an example off hand. But it does happen. So I just go by the case/disc... copying it exactly as on the case/disc.

Right you are, but we also sometimes use Disc on Norwegian titles as well. We should use what the cover says IMO...
