Since I've been auditing many seasons of this series, I wanted to make the child profiles for this season look like 3-6, where it has the THINpack cases with covers instead of the outer cover over and over again. Since it was pointed out to me that this was discussed and outside the rules, the images will probably be declined (I didn't even bother upping for disc 3).
So for those who like them as covers, or if you just want them for the gallery, here's all the inner flaps of the box with the episode info and pictures to match later seasons. If it asks for a password, it's "season2", without the " marks.

By the way, if anyone has season 1, please up some scans of that. My season 1 ran away it seems.

I can see no reason why they should be declined; there's nothing in the rules about it and I can think of many boxsets where the child profiles have their own scans.

I appreciate offering them here. But I do think the first 2 discs should be resubmitted without the scans. I would hate to see them get accepted and have to be fixed later.

The rule allows for individual packaging.  Panels of a digipak is not individual packaging. Here is where this has come up before.

I have thought about this and have come close many times to taking them down, but the other part of me wants to leave them up and see if maybe the current rules can be reviewed/changed. I seriously hate looking at the same picture over and over again in my collection, and have already resorted to using poster art locally for other sets (Alien Quad, BTTF).

I wouldn't want anything like those Hulk examples shown in the link to be within the rules, but when there is good info like these have, directly related to the individual disc being profiled, why not allow it?

I blame WB for changing the later sets to THINpacks where we could scan covers.

I understand what you are saying... but how is purposely breaking the rules help get the rules changed? Especially when we already have a way to adjust the rules. It may be slow but it does work. What needs to be done is go to the Rules Committee Forum... try to get support and wording for the new rule that would allow some of it but not others... and see how Ken feels about it.

All this way is doing is possibly putting in something that breaks the rules as they are written now. And if it gets accepted you don't have a way of knowing if it is because Ken/Gerri likes the new idea or if it just slipped through like other bad info has done.

Sorry... but I think leaving them up can do more harm then good. because if they do go through... and the rules don't change they just need to be put back the way it is now. 2 updates when only one is needed.
