| Posted: | | | | Probably because Martin knows that that's what Greg Cannom does - he's a special make-up effects artist. That's why I don't like the way the new credits have been handled - a lot of the time you need to know what someone has done before you can put them in the right category. |

Quote: Greg Cannom was a makeup and special effects artist not exclusive a Creature Designer or Make-up Effects, he's done also special effects.
so I would go by the credits and not use wishfull reading between the lines. That's not exactly a specific credit. There's no mention on that site or any site of any effects he's done that aren't makeup or prosthetic work. Edit: the biggest problem I think is that "special effects" has been lumped into the "visual effects" section without acknowledging the fact that "special effects" is an all-encompassing description that covers everything from a bullet squib to the CGI Gollum. It seems to me to be nonsense to credit someone like Rick Baker or Greg Cannom with "visual effects" when their work is almost exclusively prosthetic in nature and therefore much closer to the "makeup effects" credit. | | | Last edited: by northbloke |

I am glad to see I am not the only one that feels that way. Needless to say, I agree with this. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
