| Posted: | | | | I believe there is a thread like this but I couldn't find it at the moment. We need some changes in the genres field in the norwegian profiler. Now we have a genre called Spenning/grøsser. Spenning is Thriller and grøsser is Horror. Since we allready have a genre called Skrekk (horror) I think it's not necessary to have the joint combination of Spenning/grøsser. Any thoughts of that, and how to proceed to remove the grøsser line from genres? | | | "What's God?" | Posted: | | | | It's just a translation error then. The English genres are Suspense/Thriller and Horror respectively. I believe you can change this yourself in the translation file for your locality. | | | First registered: February 15, 2002 |

I agree they should be changed.. How to do it? Me not knows... Open the "Tool" menu, select "Options", choose "System". In the box saying "Language", press Change or Edit (Endre). In the "Highlight String" box type in "Thriller". You'll get on match, press ">" and you'll see it in the list. Select the line containing "Thriller" and change the word(s) in the "Translate" box on the bottom of the page. Press "Save". ALL DONE. |

But for those of you using the Norwegian translation - wouldn't it be better if the translation was correct in the first place, so each and every user doesn't have to do as you describe above. I don't use it, so for me it's no problem, and I may be missing some point here, but to me it seems the intial translation file is wrong.... | | | Berak

| Posted: | | | | If you look here there's an option for uploading a new translation file so anyone can get it. | | | First registered: February 15, 2002 |
