The Godfather Part III Question (Blu-ray) |

There's a recent contribution for The Godfather Part III that adds "The Coppola Restoration" to the edition. I'm torn on this because while the cover for the entire collection does say it, the disc itself does not (the other two Godfather movies do have it). I also know the DVD version which come in 3 separate cases within a slip case does not state the edition for Godfather Part III either (this is because the third movie did not get the restoration treatment).
So, does "The Coppola Restoration" edition belong to Part III? |

No, that was called the Godfather Abomination... I mean Saga!  The Coppola Restoration is what the new boxset is called because the first two Godfather films were extensively restored for the release. As for the OP's question, if it's packaged like the UK release then I would say no because Part III comes in it's own case, and if the edition isn't on that case, then I wouldn't agree to adding it. |

| | Posted: | | | | Here's the problem: The DVD has three cases, one for each movie, this Blu-ray version all three discs are in one case. Personally I don't care so I guess this was just out of curiosity. Now, I don't think it should be in the edition field (I'll just lock it locally), however I don't think the contributor is wrong either (I've voted neutral on this). |
