Here are my notes:
New submission.  All data taken from disc.

This was declined with the following reason:  Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were non-specific. Please specify the exact source for your changes. (e.g. "Credits from film end credit list", "Previous version UPC#1111111111")

I resubmitted with these notes:
New DVD submission.  Not changing anything since this DVD is not in the database.  All features, cast, crew, studios, disc ID, etc taken from DVD.  Cover scans are scans of the actual cover.

It was declined for the following reason:  Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were non-specific. Please specify the exact source for your changes. (e.g. "Credits from film end credit list", "Previous version UPC#1111111111")

I can tell these reasons are caned replies.  I don't know how much more specific I can be other than to say this is a new submission and all info came from the DVD.

At least it is in my database.

The thing that pops into my mind is that maybe you have uncredited cast in the cast list? If you do you have to document each of the uncredited cast members to prove they are in there. anyway that is the usual suspect for such a decline notice.

Other then that if you tell us which movie it is we can look on your online collection and see if we see anything obvious that may be stopping it.

The problem, as I see it, is that you didn't specify that cast, crew and studios were taken from the film credits.  Specifying that everything was taken from the disk is non-specific.  Plenty of folks copy cast off of the back cover and claim the information was taken from the disk.  The rest of the items can be attributed to the disk, but the rules specifically ask us to take those three pieces of information from the actual film credits.

I'm not saying that you didn't do this, just that nobody would know based on what you have written.

Collection number 620.  The Biggest Loser:  The Workout:  Weigh Loss Yoga.  There are no uncredited cast members.  All cast and crew were taken from the credits section of the DVD.

I have updated my online collection several times, but I cannot get that dvd to display the data in my database.  The profile is completly locked.  What shows is what info I had keyed in when I first got the DVD before I profiled it.

Two things:

First, the part I bolded indicates that they want to know exactly where the credits came from.
Second, since this is a workout DVD, does it have an actual cast list with roles?  If not, then you have to provide the source for that data.

We will teach it to them again.

There is a menu option for the credits.

I had that too once, when I changed  aDVD to the correct locality. and it said that its a new contribution, but it came out that somewhere deep down in the database cellar, there was one with a wrong UPC, I resubmitted it again and clarified that the DVD that is now in the database is a wrong one and my contribution got approved.

hope that helps

"Cast and crew as credited" works pretty well for getting things through when you have no uncredited cast.

There are no uncredited cast.  All the cast and crew are listed under the credits menu option on the dvd.

Thanks for all the help guys, but I think I am calling it quits on this one and moving on.  If some other DVDP user buys this DVD, they can try their luck.  I have the DVD profiled in my database which is all that really matters.

Boykin- it doesn't sound like you have resubmitted using the suggested terminology, which I will further suggest to change to "cast and crew as credited from viewing disc". Since you've done all the work, why not just try resubmitting once more?
