Personally, I don't want the same credit for both the TV Series, and Tomorrow Never Dies, since these are different actors.

Would it be acceptible in this case to add BY 9999 to the Australian actor?

It's preferable over adding a non-existing middle initial, because that would render it impossible to contribute the profile. Using a fake birth year, as explained above, does not have that drawback.
