Why are people voting yes to this contribution?

Title:- Rambo III
Disc ID:- IB19946CC0424340F
Locality:- UK
Region:- 2

this is the same Dsic ID for the original release of the Trilogy set released in 2004.

The current submitter is trying to change the cover art,  the release date and trying to change the Edition Field to that for the 2008 RE-RELEASE version which also included the latest film "Rambo".

Yet the rules state that the Original Version release is prevalent for the online DB.

I do wish some of these Yes Voters would read the rules regarding Original Releases and Re-Releases before blindly voting yes to everything. (I'm not just talking about this DVD here either)

Thoughts please people.

Further viewing to help people out here.

new contribution cover scans & Details that are trying to be submitted. Here

Yet the Original cover scans & Details as per the online DB. Here

Please bear in mind people we are not talking about the UPC/EAN for the main sets here, we are talking about child profiles as supplied for the Parent UPC/EAN. So it's not a case of supplying new scans/details for a new UPC/EAN.

Hey Steve,

Looks like the three most important *   folks agree....i.e. you, me & Skip!

*I did think about saying "old buqqers" here, but you're younger than me & Skip!

However, I wonder whether there is a more interesting topic here about the re-use of extant "child" discs in box sets, such as here where it appears that the same disc is used in both the Trilogy & Ultimate collections (but I suspect with new artwork for the more modern release), and whether Ken should consider (for future releases, obviously) the ability for multiple covers.

So maybe a "feature request" some time in the future, perhaps?

As an aside, in my local DB, I use "original" covers (or as close as I can get) for the children of box sets, such as Alien Quadrilogy, Smokey & Bandit Trilogy, Robocop Trilogy, Mummy Ultimate and er, Rambo Trilogy.

Why? Because I like it that way!

Glad I'm not the only one who knows the difference.

as for the "Edit" Chris that all depends, doesn't it.
