Since we have 3 slots for Media Companies now, would it be appropriate to include both Paramount Home Entertainment and CBS DVD (e.g., The Fugitive, Season 1 Volume 1)?

I would say yes.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Not me, I think it looks best with two empty slots!

OK, just kidding, I agree also, that is why we have more than one slot!

I just find it a whole lot easier to remember DVDs that are marketed as CBS DVD or DisneyDVD than something like Buena Vista Home Entertainment, or whatever.  I think it depends on what a user wants with the information.

Exactly.  Buena Vista could be Disney, Miramax, Touchstone, Hollywood Pictures, Dimension, etc. -- not exactly helpful if searching for a group of those profiles.

I just watched a big, long, blaring promotional intro to a TV series last night.  After the fanfares and a lot of fancy graphics, what came up was "CBS DVD."  No mention anywhere about Paramount, other than a logo on the box cover.

The producers clearly want you to think about CBS DVDs.  So for the less sophisticated users among us (myself included) I'm glad we now have the capability of including both.
