I was just curious why alot of foreign DVD's are not in the system(or at least the ones I buy LOL)are most of the people that use this software here in the US?
like these titles are not in:
Carver R2 (now it is,I added it)
Dard Divorce Limited Edition Steelbook R2
Legion of The Dead Limited Edition Steelbook R2
The Haunting of Rebecca Verlaine Unrated R2(now it is,I added it)

and I still have more to check, granted they are ALL very Gorey movies, but movies none the less.

I think that most English releases are in the database. The problem with non-English releases is that whoever is contributing the data HAS to understand English as that is currently the only language allowed on the contribution screen so that the screeners can understand them. Although the forum users speak English (often better than native speakers! ), they only count for a small percentage of total users.

In addition to the above, the rarer the title, the greater the chance that it's not in the database.

Your problem seems to depend on the location of the DVD, unlike region 1 the region 2 is split up into several countries and not all of them have a contributing DVDProfiler community.
While Germany, UK and Scandinavia usually have nearly all available DVDs in the database, other countries of R2 don't.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Actually, the problem is (at least) two-fold.  As well as what you stated above, English-speakers buying DVDs won't necessarily be able to enter the information from the DVD (especially for Asian releases), or may simply use a de facto profile from another locality rather than make the effort (if you're not going to contribute).  I know I can only copy from other profiles for cast/crew for some of my stuff, and in some cases there have only been releases in a single country, so that's not even an option.

You got some nice tips for me? Carver was cute, I've seen that one. Don't own it though. I buy most of those DVD's on R1

But most of the R1 versions are big time butchered, especially the Olaf Ittenbach movies.

This is, I own it. The German locality one anyway UPC: 0-471108-151114?

@ RaymondG: As for Gory films, if you haven't already, try: Anything by Timo Rose (esp. Barricade), some Andreas Bethmann (Angel of Death, Exitus Interruptus etc.), Nick Palumbo (Murder-Set-Pieces, Nutbag), Olaf Ittenbach (e.g. Dard Divorce above is a good place to start - unfortunately most of Ittenbach's work is released in Germany with NO English Subtitles  ), then there are the more well known such as Haute Tension, Inside, as well as the usual Asian Cinema outings (Extreme - Guinea Pig, Men Behind the Sun, Splatter: Naked Blood etc.; More Mainstream - Tetsuo), then there is the usual Zombie outings like Bone Sickness, Evil Dead, Braindead, Romero's stuff etc. - but I don't want to patronise you with those as I am sure you have seen them / own them. Some Italian and Spanish Cinema is fairly gory though -  As well as Fulci, there are many gialli that have spectacularly gory effects (Argento, Bava (both Mario and Lamberto), Margheriti, Franco, de Ossorio, the list is endless....    I own a fair few, and there are always more lurking about that I want to purchase.
