Hi,
since I had the same problems, based on the MPAA-rating no logo was displayed, with 3.5.0 I installed the new beta 3.5.1 Build 1249.
I am using at my report the following conditions on the MPAA-Rating
=G, =PG, =PG-13, =R and >R
Result with 3.5.0: no logo was displayed
Result with 3.5.1: =G, =R and >R seem to work, =PG and =PG-13 still do not work
So I reported the issue to the
Version 3.5.1 Build 1249 Bug Reports thread and got this answer from Ken Cole:
"The MPAA Rating conditional is there for backwards compatibility only. The new Rating conditional is recommended as it works with the new ratings system."
Because of this answer I tried to find any explanation about the new rating system, but I was not successful. Has anyone any idea where to find some information about the new rating conditional to use on reports?
Anyway, what I found out so far is that you have to use "Rating" as instead of "MPAA Rating".
Then you are only able to use "= (equal to)" or "!= (not equal to)" to compare, less or greater than is not available anymore.
As I found out so far, the value to compare with depends on the DVD country, which is depending on the UPC/EAN code.
Therefore I think you could compare with:
“FSK-0”, “FSK-6”, “FSK-12”, “FSK-16” and “FSK-18/KJ” for German DVD’s
“G”, “PG”, “PG-13”, “R” and “NC-17” for American DVD’s
“U”, “Uc”, “PG”, “12”, “15”, “18”, and “R18” for English DVD’s
I am not sure how to use “Ungeprüft”, “Porno”, “NR”, “Adult” or “E”, yet. Has anyone a clue?
It seems a little bit more work on the reports to me, but also the possibility to be more correctly.
Anyway, my report is now working again.
Greetings André
