Is there a way to solve the issue that I get with extremely high Total Price Paid in the reports?

I bought the Japanese Kill Bill Volume 1 and Volume 2 DVD in 2004 for 5280 Japanese Yen. The DVD profiler has an SRP of 5980 for this item. Now my Prices Paid report lists the 5280 or 5980 as USD for year 2004.

Also in the total for 2004: Lara Croft Tomb Raider DTS with 1980 Yen, Tomb Raider 2 DTS with 2500 Yen, Spy Kids DTS with 1780 and Starship Troopers 2 DTS with 3800 Yen.

And I am pretty sure I did not pay anywhere near 16000 USD for DVDs back in 2004. The same happened with the 2007 results because I also ordered some Japanese DVDs from hmv.co.jp in that year.

I know it is only statistics, yet it should at least be somehow realistic and I did not pay USD 5280 for this Kill Bill edition (but it would be worth more than I paid for because it is the one with everything in Color).

Is there a way to compensate for this weird currency and price mix up?

How does the report generate this chart? Simply by adding the numbers or by converting everything in the currency that I want to?

At the moment it seems that there is no conversion in place. If someone could perhaps fix this in the future releases? It would be fine if the DVD profiler would convert all prices paid to a currency of the user's choice.

I completely agree - I'd love to have some sort of conversion table in Profiler somewhere, or an extra field where you can store converted prices while still keeping the original currency.

There is a way of converting foreign currencies in Profiler, but I have to admit I haven't used it as it changes your profile information permanently.
What you do is flag all profiles of one type of currency (for example, all your Japanese DVDs), then go to Flagged -> Adjust Prices.
You'll get a new window where you can convert the RRP and/or the purchase price into the currency of your choice, using a manually entered exchange rate.
If you do this, then at least your report will be adding prices all in the same currency, but I'd still prefer a solution that preserves the currency information.

Agreed.  I do seem to remember that in version 2 this was in fact the case, because the reports calculated all values in the reports to the system currency setting.
